ka-ching! ka-ching!

Yea. Long time, no hear. What canI say? I've become a bee... or is it an ant? Naku. I can't even get the insect right.

...Bee!... Busy as a bee!

Duh, Wacky.

Eh pano. Too many gastos along the jingle-all-the way and after. I know my gurl will be posting exhibits a to z in her bloggy soon. She calls them christmas presents. I call them headaches.

Joke. Kidding. The wrinkles, baby!

Alright. I had my own shopping list that I took care of... with her consent, syempre. Why with her consent? Conjugal, dudes. Stop making that facial expression because you know what I mean. Spending is conjugal, regardless of whose dough it is.

Great kasi pinagbigyan nya ako more than once. I mean, get a load of this, pare.

2 pairs of adidas rubber shoes, a lot of music and movie titles on discs, office wardrobe good for a week, a multimedia keyboard for my home pc, books and the dandiest of all...

A new mobile phone!

My toy, which I call ze Juggernaut phone, has been tried and tested - both at home and in the office. Like what I predicted, I've been having loads of fun shooting my colleagues while they work their asses off.

We also gave my dad a nokia to replace his jurassic panasonic handy.

Christmas went very well, although I wasn't able to attend the family reunion (maternal side), much to the disappointment of my mom. I think she didn't speak to me for a week. Tsk. Blame it on my work kaya.

In fairness, I was able to host the family's christmas dinner at home that was also attended by the folks of my sister-in-law. They flew in from HK so it was one of those rare occassions for a family gathering.

New year, syempre I bought fireworks. Nagpaputok sa kalye. Etc...etc...

I've been pretty generous to my gurl, especially this christmas that just passed. I bought her a set of jewelry - a pair of earrings and a ring with diamonds. Business is good eh. We also went shoe-shopping. I forgot how many pairs we bought.

As for the jewelry, I made sure that we ordered it from the family alahera. Yep, we have our own jeweler. The family calls her Aling Nora who inherited the job from her late mother, the original jeweler of my family.

A month ago I asked Aling Nora to find for me an ID bracelet so I can engrave the word Diabetic on it. Last week she returned and said she couldn't find one with very good quality. She presented the only gwapo gold bracelet she had. My gurl saw it and she told me to take it.

Conjugal decision-making is sweet even for diabetics.

Two weekends ago (ata) we finally went to the Mall of Asia. It was great timing for her because of the sale going on. We arrived just when the parking lot opened and left at around 4 pm. I'd like to think we were able to cover much of the mall. We chose to ate at Hai, a chinese resto. Di namin nagustuhan ung food but the servers were very nice. I wanted her to try the veggie salad with pomelo but when we were there, I think both of us forgot to order it.

2006 did us a great job! And i have a feeling that the good karma will continue this year!

And for my second mom who recently smsd me that I don't have time for her anymore (with a muffled hikbi in the background)... eto na po. See you very soon.

kids should know that...
The Mall of Asia was constructed within the reclamation area, west of Roxas Boulevard in Pasay City, aptly nicknamed "Bay City". It is built on 19.5 hectares of reclaimed land and has a gross floor area of 386,224 square meters. The mall is located at the southmost tip of Epifanio de los Santos Avenue. A roundabout was constructed in the front of the mall with a huge bronze globe similar to Universal Studios. One of the mall's somewhat-unique features is a 20-seater tram traveling around the mall grounds to ferry shoppers around. Concierge desks are located in the Main Mall and the Entertainment Mall.
